Hyde Park is one of the most open of London parks. It has wide open spaces and contains Speakers Corner which is near Marble Arch. Marble Arch was the site of the Tyburn Tree where public executions were held attended by very large and boistrous crowds. Open air concerts are held on the wide open spaces. The park contains the Serpentine lake at its heart.
